“American field players would really help themselves if they were exposed to a steady stream of box experience. Box lacrosse is an extremely valuable background for a young player, we need to incorporate more of the indoor skills into the field game. It is almost a requirement to have a top player with indoor experience on your roster right now.”

–Dom Starsia, University of Virginia Head Coach

This tournament is part of a new initiative to expand youth lacrosse opportunities in the Casco Bay area.  The Casco Bay Arena is presently under construction in Falmouth, and will host box lacrosse programs and games from March through October.  The Arena should be ready for off-season operation in August 2015.  More information about the arena project can be found by clicking here: Casco Bay Arena.

207 Lacrosse and the Casco Bay Arena are also working with Travis Roy Arena at North Yarmouth Academy to offer box lacrosse rental time from April-June when their ice is out.  We anticipate that 207 Lacrosse will be offering a box lacrosse program at Travis Roy Arena this Spring.
