The Casco Bay Athletic Club (CBAC) is the parent club administering all of the off-season sports at Casco Bay Arena.   CBAC is a member club of the Amateur Athletic Association (AAU).  Player membership in the AAU allows participation in a variety of sports at Casco Bay Arena and other venues.

Casco Bay Box Lacrosse is part of CBAC and will be running box lacrosse programs this Spring, Summer and Fall.  Our Program Registration Page will be active shortly.

All players must be registered AAU members.  The cost of membership is $14 per year.

Casco Bay Athletic Club’s Zip Code is 04105 and our AAU Club Number is WWCTD8.

AAU membership confers numerous benefits, including accident insurance and $10 million in liability coverage.  Membership covers participation in 34 sports and players who are AAU members for another sport do not need to sign up again.  All non-hockey programs at the Casco Bay Arena will be run through AAU.

Our Spring Programs are focused on pre-season skill development with an emphasis on fun.  All sessions run for 60 minutes and we will start with 10-15 minutes of warm-up drill and then proceed to scrimmages.  The increased touches and the speed of play in box lacrosse will result in great skill development.

Our Summer and Fall Box Lacrosse Leagues will be played according to AAU Box Lacrosse Rules with the exception of our modified checking and non-checking divisions.

Modified checking divisions will play according to field lacrosse standards, which prohibit checks against the boards, cross-checking, and off-ball checking.  Non-checking divisions will prohibit all body checking.
